where we headed
I cant seem to get my head over it and it seems none of us are thinking about it anymore or we are just ignoring it but its there and we seem not to be concerned about it but let us be honest which one of us is going to call 2face to come and play on our wedding day.
I love the new nigerian music like anybody else and the direction that its going and all i mean who does not like 2face,9ice,ruggedman,sasha,and the rest of them but then where are the new juju,apala and other traditional nigerian musicians? I remember as a young man in those days when u go to a partythe order of the day was to get out the new Sunny Ade or Obey and your Kollinton and the rest of them yes i know they were innovators and they created vibes that we girated to but today all we hear is hip-hop in new and different variations of it but where is the reall naija gbedu where are the new Sunny and Obey and abeg if i want gospel i will go to church but on your wedding day do you really want to be girating to the sounds of p-square,rooftop Mcs,infinity,styl plus would you not prefer Shina peters,Segun adewale,YK Ajao i mean where are they now?
where is the real nigerian music? i know fuji is still out there but if you are like me or like most people i know you want your juju music. I know some people who i grew up with who wanted sunny or obey to play on their wedding day and all but this guys are now what like in their sixties and would not get out of bed to play for young Gs like us no more so who is out there fo us to call. Hey maybe its because we are in the uk or in the states that we have not heard of them here but if we can hear of the hip-hop singing ones why cant we get the juju ones.
I would like to get married soon and when the time comes abeg shelf the hip-hop get me some juju music so i can shake my ass and watch my bride shake hers as well when we get to the room later we ca pull out the hip-hop.

Black Power
Hurrah hurrah hurrah i can t help but get excited at the prospect of a black man at the seat of power of the most powerful country in the world. I mean can u just imagine it being in the threshold of power and in the position to depress the button that could set off a host of nuclear weapons. But enuf of the disaster asking and all that, i must now ask all my black brethren to raise their glasses where ever they may be in the world and toast our brother Obama. I mean when we got Clinton not only were we happy but we felt that we could not get any closer but boy were we wrong. We now get OBAMA i guess we should be happy don't u all think so? but the smart ones amongst know whats to or may come.But first let me say again hurrah to you Obama u have done the unthinkable and if u get all the way then i will be head over heels for you.
But lets pause for a moment and have a look at what black power has accomplished in the world since civilisation has come to pass, i mean America must be trembling on it knees at the thought of a black man in power and why not have u ever heard of a black man in power that wanted to let go of it when his time was up (what nonsense abeg ask next question )all they have to do is look at not a country but a continent and they get their answer to the question.And for the fools that don't know what i am referring to its AFRICA.
Now lets get down to the brass taxes of it all i like Obama i believe he represents the next phase of what is needed in America and the world a face that can be identified with and trusted(thank God he does not have Nigerian heritage else they would be looking into his campaign funds for fraud)but oboy please when you get there remember that u have African heritage and spread some of the luv our way(i mean dollars oh not actual luv)
But living in the UK i have seen a lot and u know what i found out is this no matter where we r a black man should not be given power cos he get s greedy and never wants to let go when he get s it .POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY.
Case in point my people look all over Africa wherever u may cast ur eye and u will see what i mean when one of us comes into power we forget that we were once one of the people we are now a power unto our self answerable to no one and the buck starts and stop anywhere but at us.
If u ask for names then the list goes on for so long the only thing that gets them out of office is either a bullet to the brain or pressure from their parent countries. I mean how funny is that we gain independence from themas a collective but when we want to remove one of our own we have to beg them to come back and do this for us. We are the second most populated continent in the world(don't worry i am not proud of the fact that we breed even worse than rabbits the idiots that we are ), but we we cant gang up and eject one of our own shame on us all as a continent .
I have always felt that i would not get out of this world a millionaire but now all i have to do is go to Zimbabwe with ten pounds and presto i am an instant billionaire yes i know its not worth shit but can u take it away from me that for a brief period of my life i was a billionaire? And this is all because of an idiot who realises not that when he dies he will leave this world in a box broke and with the curses of a whole nation I don't know about u but I think that is a sure fire guarantee
for hell.and that is just one of many i am sure u can think of a few more urself some dead and some living and fighting for more power but what do we do we sit and wait for the powers that are to come and rescue us. As Fela said I LOOK AND LAUGH.
then we now come to a foreign land and the minute we r given a little power we think we are it but not to worry ur deportation letters will all be signed tomorrow for now they still have use for u today so keep watching ur back and who knows which will come first them or the rapture?

MEANING OF LIFE
Ask anyone u know and none would be short of their own take ot it.ask any of the best known theologist and they would give u a new intake of what to think but end of the day even they fall victim to the confusion that it is. sons and daughters don t even try to ask ur fathers or mothers lest it all going to end in whys which never end and a smacked bottom during the football match.
but allow me rip out ur ears for a second please dont lend them to me and try my intake on it for a change and if u dont like it tough.
THE MEANING OF LIFE COULD NOT BE ANY SIMPLER ITS DEATH.
WHAT i hear u all ask then i make it all simpler but not too long so i can get back to bed lay down the pipe and go create another life.
in life we r all destined to live (even for a short while) but u know what not all of us are destined to be rich ,have a family laugh, cry or even get a first kiss(o ma she o) but u know what no matter who we end up being in this world the only thing we all share in common is the eventuality that we all cannot escape and which we will all go thru hav u guessed it yet?no or are u afraid to admit to it well let me help u out then its DEATH
